15 Minute Summer Dance Party Workout is another fun outdoor rebounder workout by Sydney @ Jump & Jacked. And just like the other one I reviewed, there is lots of dog zoomies and some great music. The first song is Let’s Dance by David Bowie and the last song is Waterloo by Abba. There are two other songs that are good but they aren’t as good as Bowie and Abba. Sydney structures this workout like she does most of her workouts. She puts together a combination of moves set to a song and you repeat them until the song is over. There are no complex or difficult moves. It’s lots of fun and a nice burst of cardio. I love these short rebounder workouts because I stack them. This morning I strung together 3 short rebounder workouts that have no warm up or stretch to give myself 50 minutes of cardio. Then I ended with Naomi Joy‘s rebounder stretch.
15 Minute Summer Dance Party Workout is 15:36 minutes. There is no warm up or cool down/stretch. 4 seconds before a move changes a video appears of Sydney previewing the upcoming move.
- Hopping heel/hip shifts
- Bounce tap with legs wide, alternate pushing arm across body to side; arms change to a sort of cross body upper cut
- Hopping heel/hip twists swinging arms side to side; arms to change to pushing one arm overhead, alternate arms
- Alternating toe tap to the front jogs
- Low impact jacks with small push down bounces
- Repeat #1-5 until song is over
- Step touch side to side; add sweeping one arm to the front and to the side, alternate arms
- Alternating stomps swinging arms to the front and sides
- Alternate stepping legs out to side, still swinging arms to front and sides
- Basic wide leg bounce punching arms forward and pulling them back; arms change to pushing both arms overhead and pulling them down
- Repeat #7-10 until song is over
- Hopping hip twists pushing arms overhead side to side then down side to side
- Jack the legs while swinging the arms forward and back; arms change to opening and closing them to sides while raised to shoulder level
- Stomp march
- One jumping jack + one single arm front punch, alternate arms when punching
- Repeat #12-15 until song is over
- Alternating wide leg heel digs (first hop + heel dig then changes to fast alternating heel digs)
- High knee run
- Alternating wide leg toe tap hops with alternating “wave” arms to the front
- Alternating wide leg hopping hips shifts, alternate pushing arms overhead
- Lateral hops
- Hop forward and back while also swinging arms forward and back
- Repeat #17-22 until song is over
