AngieFitnessTV: 16 Minute Power Walk with Arm Toning

16 Minute Power Walk with Arm Toning is quick and effective low impact cardio walk that focuses on your arms. I used it this morning as a warm up before doing a real upper body strength workout. It did a great job warming me up for more intense and focused strength work. I used a 3 pound dumbbells and it burned my arm started to feel the burn few times (I’m limited to using only one arm currently due to shoulder surgery). I also wore am 8 pound weighted vest to increase the cardio intensity. Another great little cardio walk from Angie that you can add onto other workouts. I would never use it by itself (except maybe for a fitness break during the day to get in some extra steps) but combined with another workout as a finisher (or warm up), it works great.

16 Minute Power Walk with Arm Toning is 17:28 minutes; 1:18 minute intro. Each exercise is done for 1 minute. You are doing basic cardio walk moves: marching in place, marching forward and back, heel digs, step side to side, side taps and hamstring curls. Angie is using 2 pound dumbbells. Arm movements include basic matching arms, punching arms in various directions, upright rows, front and side raise variations.
